KAIZEN RIETI TRA I TOP TEAM DELLA HEART CUP 2026
Grandi soddisfazioni per la nostra scuola, protagonista alla nona edizione della Heart Cup, prestigiosa competizione internazionale di karate shotokan svoltasi a Ponzano Veneto nel weekend.
La manifestazione organizzata da Ren Bu Kan Treviso ha visto la partecipazione di 1552 atleti provenienti da 7 nazioni europee e 103 squadre iscritte.
La due-giorni di gare sul tatami ha segnato anche il debutto del nuovo circuito ESKA European Ippon Shobu Karate League for Clubs.
Un evento che si è confermato tra i più rilevanti nel panorama continentale del karate tradizionale.
In questo contesto di altissimo livello, il team reatino guidato da Ilaria Dionisi e Marco Paolucci ha ottenuto risultati di grande rilievo, migliorando ulteriormente le già ottime prestazioni della passata edizione.
Il bottino finale parla di 9 podi complessivi, di cui 3 medaglie d’oro, e di un significativo 13° posto nel medagliere generale su 103 società partecipanti.
A vincere la medaglia d’oro sono stati:
Maria Conti, (Kata cinture Marroni Over Femminile), Andrea Zimny (Kata cinture Gialle/Arancioni Kids Maschile) e Leonardo Biasone (Kata cinture Gialle/Arancioni Youth Maschile), che si sono imposti nettamente con grande autorevolezza.
Sono riusciti a salire sul podio anche Matteo Taddei Vittori (Kata cinture Verdi/Blu Junior-Senior Maschile), Michela Carosi (Kata e Kumite cinture Nere Over open Femminile), Tommaso Fabellini (Kata e Kumite cinture Marroni Youth -65 kg Maschile) e Flavio Maurizi (Kata cinture Marroni/Nere Kids Maschile), con questi ultimi due atleti capaci di raggiungere i vertici delle rispettive categorie di fronte a pool di oltre 30 concorrenti.
Oltre ai risultati individuali, è emersa la solidità dell’intero gruppo. Diversi atleti hanno infatti sfiorato il podio. Tra questi Emily Fields, Ludovica Fiocco e Samuele Taglieri, tutti qualificati per le finali a 8 delle proprie categorie.
Alla trasferta hanno preso parte anche Vittoria Biasone e Mia De Angelis, entrambe semifinaliste, insieme a Malika Fe’ D’Ostiani, Cristiano Fiocco, Rebecca Kao e Maria Lang. Proprio quest’ultima è stata convocata nella rappresentativa del Lazio che parteciperà al prossimo Trofeo delle Regioni FIKTA, in programma a Cecina a fine Marzo.
I risultati ottenuti rappresentano un importante punto di partenza per il prosieguo della stagione.
È stato bello essere partecipi dei sentimenti e delle emozioni provate dai ragazzi: la spensieratezza del viaggio e dello stare insieme, le preoccupazioni prima della gara, le lacrime di delusione, ma soprattutto i sorrisi dopo prestazioni che magari non hanno portato alla conquista di una medaglia, ma che hanno lasciato la soddisfazione di aver dato tutto sul tatami, convinti di aver fatto del proprio meglio e averlo fatto bene. Quella consapevolezza che nel karate vale spesso più di qualsiasi risultato.
La nostra scuola guarda ora ai prossimi impegni con rinnovata fiducia, consapevoli che il lavoro quotidiano, l’impegno e la dedizione continueranno a essere la base per crescere, migliorare e puntare a nuovi traguardi.
🇬🇧 Great satisfaction for our club, which starred at the ninth edition of the Heart Cup, a prestigious international Shotokan karate competition held in Ponzano Veneto over the weekend.The event, organized by Ren Bu Kan Treviso, saw the participation of 1,552 athletes from 7 European countries and 103 registered teams.The two-day competition on the tatami also marked the debut of the new ESKA European Ippon Shobu Karate League for Clubs circuit.An event that has once again confirmed itself as one of the most important on the continental traditional karate scene.In this extremely high-level context, the team from Rieti, led by Ilaria Dionisi and Marco Paolucci, achieved outstanding results, further improving on the already excellent performances from the previous edition.The final tally shows a total of 9 podium finishes, including 3 gold medals, and a significant 13th place in the overall medal standings out of 103 participating clubs.The gold medals were won by:Maria Conti (Kata Brown Belts Female Over), Andrea Zimny (Kata Yellow/Orange Belts Kids Male), and Leonardo Biasone (Kata Yellow/Orange Belts Youth Male), all of whom dominated their categories with great authority.Also reaching the podium were Matteo Taddei Vittori (Kata Green/Blue Belts Junior-Senior Male), Michela Carosi (Kata and Kumite Black Belts Female Over Open), Tommaso Fabellini (Kata and Kumite Brown Belts Youth -65 kg Male), and Flavio Maurizi (Kata Brown/Black Belts Kids Male). The latter two athletes managed to reach the top positions in their respective categories against pools of over 30 competitors.Beyond the individual results, the overall strength of the team clearly emerged. Several athletes came close to the podium, including Emily Fields, Ludovica Fiocco, and Samuele Taglieri, all of whom qualified for the top 8 finals in their respective categories.Also part of the delegation were Vittoria Biasone and Mia De Angelis, both semifinalists, along with Malika Fe’ D’Ostiani, Cristiano Fiocco, Rebecca Kao, and Maria Lang. The latter has been selected for the Lazio regional team that will compete in the upcoming FIKTA Trofeo delle Regioni, scheduled to take place in Cecina at the end of March.The results achieved represent an important starting point for the continuation of the season.It was truly rewarding to share in the emotions experienced by the athletes: the carefree moments of traveling and being together, the tension before the matches, the tears of disappointment, but above all the smiles after performances that may not have led to a medal, yet brought the satisfaction of having given everything on the tatami, confident of having done their best and done it well. That awareness, in karate, is often worth more than any result.Our club now looks ahead to the upcoming events with renewed confidence, fully aware that daily work, commitment, and dedication will continue to be the foundation for growth, improvement, and the pursuit of new goals.
